When Brielle was taken by the prince of darkness, a large part of me died inside. How can I move on? How can I accept that she's gone?
I can't.
After searching every possible way to bring her back, I finally accept that she may be gone... forever.
If that's the case, then I can't stay in Angel City any longer.
*Author note: This is a follow up 30,000 word novella to Fallen Academy: Year Three that is told from Lincoln's point of view and covers his one year without Brielle. Happy reading =)

Great It was sad, but good to read about Lincoln’s experience when Bri was taken. Sad , but a very happy ending.

I loved this so hard!! This was incredible and amazing and so just what true fans of this series so needed!! It was absolutely heartbreaking getting into Lincoln's head and heart. I loved how he was lost but found purpose. The back and forth of his emotional pain was so realistic. I knew what was going to happen in the end, but reading his voice and taking the journey with him made me melt and cry and finally feel just so relieved that his misery was ended. I adore Ms. Stone's writing and it always leaves me wishing for more 💗💗💗

You think your prepared for this book but let me tell you guys...nothing...and I mean absolutely nothing can prepare you for the ride of pure raw emotions this book will take you on! Its crazy good and written so perfectly. It’s a roller-coaster of emotions for sure but one that is very well crafted.
This book takes you on the journey Lincoln goes through after Brie is taken to hell. You’ll see his agonising POV come to life in this book. Your heart will break and feel everything right along side his and sometimes it’ll be so hard to read through the own raw emotion building in your own chest and throat but you just can’t help but read on because you want to know. You want to see it to the end. You want to get to that moment when you see them back together, both hearts mending each other. That even through all the changes they still love each other so wholeheartedly. There’s nothing more beautiful.
This book although focused on Lincoln does also show you more into the friendships of all our most fav characters. I loved seeing how Shea and Linc worked together refusing to let Brie go. And even his best friend Noah and Raphael standing by his side even when he tries to push everyone aside. I also loved the new addition Catia I just know we are going to see more of her in the future 😊 thank you Catia for being there for our man and helping him through the tough times. He didn’t know at the time that he needed someone to help fill that void of love and family. Can’t wait to see Brie, Shea and Catia together. That’s going to be epic! I can only imagine the trouble they could get into lol. 😆
I would like to just quickly advise that for younger readers this book is quite the emotional, raw read and does contain some more mature content such as self harm and psychological struggles as Linc tries to navigate a world where Brie is not by his side.
Thank you again Leia for such another captivating read! It was perfect being able to see the two sides of what each of our most adored couple suffered through while trying to get back to the other.
I take my hat off to you Leia Stone for all the amazing writing you create!
Anyways that’s all for now my book friends
Happy Readings 🤓❤️

Absolutely loved this POV from Lincoln, and the heartbreaking emotional journey that Leia Stone has written. Year Three And A Half is a wonderful novella and a great addition to the series.
I highly recommend Year Three And A Half, and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

A Dark Journey to RedemptionThis story takes place at the same time as Year 3 but follows Lincoln as he and Bri's friends try to come to terms with her apparent death.
Leia takes us down the dark path that Lincoln travels while searching for answers and how to live life after losing the love of his life.
If you've read the other Fallen Academy books then this is a must have for your collection.

When I finished reading the third book I was so upset because I wanted to know what the hell happened to lincoln while she was gone. I was so happy to find out they were making a book just for him.
With that being said, I was slightly disappointed. The storyline was great and it was awesome to see a different world from just Los Angeles and to also get more info about what was going on around the world. However, it all felt too rushed. Nothing was ever explained throughly. It was like reading a summary of his year. I think the author could have elaborated more on him working through the bidding process. There were a lot of things that could have been extended but instead it was quickly scribbled out. This was a big 'ole flop for me. It did not meet my expectations and because of that I was very disappointed.
The only thing im thankful for is that i have KU and was able to read it for free. If I would have paid a single dollar I would be a lot more disappointed. It was too quick of a read and simply just not enough for me but oh well. I guess I'll have to wait until Year 4 comes out.... Whenever that is.

When Brielle disappears to Hell and may not still be alive Lincoln is stuck in Angel City with no direction. Everyone is trying to move on and they even have a funeral for her but he can’t. He can’t accept that she is gone and definitely not that she is dead. He falls in to a pit of despair, and even goes so far as to end his life. When that doesn’t work he makes a life altering decision. He must leave all of his friends and Angel City behind. If he cannot be with the woman he loves then he will put his life on the line to save as many others as he can. The danger level is high and his moral compass will be tested. This is a thrill ride, short and scary! It was fun to find out how he spent the year!

The gripping emotions...I’ve read each book, devoured each story. I knew what had happened but I never expected the fierce emotions that poured from Lincoln. I had tears in my eyes as I read the beginning of this novella. Leia amazes me with her ability to pull us in and become part of the story. Each moment of heartache weighed on my soul. Each step into the darkness allowed the hope to dwindle even when I knew the outcome. Leia is that good.
Once again it’s fantastic. I can’t express how phenomenal she is at creating these magical and impressive stories. Eagerly anticipating the next one!!

This was an awesome read and I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much. Usually when an author decides to do a mid point story with another character I'm always a bit dubious as I feel it may take me away from the MCs story. However, this book is such a welcome insight into Lincoln's journey and how he coped and dealt with everything whilst he wasn't sure of the fate of Brielle. I feel that the author has really managed to feel this characters grief and despair which on turn I felt whilst reading. I thought that this was a great read and an important part of Brielle's story, as Lincoln plays an important part in it and we needed to see what he went through. Five stars from me.

Loved! This is Lincolns story from when Brielle was taken. My heart broke so much for him as he lost her and felt like he failed to protect her. He spirals so much as first and after a while decides its time to leave and do something else. I really loved that we got to see his POV for a little bit.

The book we all needed! While reading the 3rd book I kept finding myself wanting to know Lincoln's thoughts and feelings! I was little too excited to find out that it exists and loved every word of this book. This whole series is amazing and must read! Going to be starting 4th one later this week.

Well I am a simp for Lincoln so I really liked the novella from his point of view. The only thing that "bothered" me a bit were the allusions to Catia somehow taking up some of the space left by Brie. As much as I loved the friendship between the two, that was inappropriate in my opinion, given how much he suffered from Brie's loss

Holy friggin hell. You are going to be absolutely DESTROYED by Lincoln’s story. We get to experience his pain and heart break of everything he’s going through losing Brielle! This boy is dark and tortured. I mean SERIOUSLY TORTURED. I hardcore ugly cried like a little girl reading this. Seeing the relationships with their friends Shea, Noah, and Raphael! They’re some of my absolute favorite secondary characters!
I cannot wait to read book 4. It is going to be incredible and leave me with one outrageous book hangover!
Pick up this novella! Even if you’re not a fan of novellas you should love the in depth, heartbreaking, and seriously breathtaking view into Lincoln!

This book was just as spellbinding as the rest of them. I just couldn't put it down. I loved reading about year three from Lincoln's perspective. Catia was a fun addition to the characters. Overall, a great addition to the series and I can't wait until the next book is out.

I really should have read this before year four 😂
