Im half way into the book rn and its actually good for a webtoon. Im spoiled a upcoming scene and im honestly dreading for when it happens. And this women has been at war for 20 chapters now and its probably going to be another 20 😥

Well, this is freaking cute! I totally recommend! I hate isekai in anime but I love it when it's manhwa!
This a manhwa about a current day doctor named Elise who remembers her past reincarnated self. Something happens to Elise that causes her to go back into her previous life. Unfortunately, she used to be an evil Queen who then gets sentenced to death by her husband, the King. Now that she's back she will do anything in her power to change her future and bring good to the people of the kingdom instead of evil by putting her medical knowledge to use!
Read this if you love romance. Read this if you love cinnamon rolls. Read this if you love a strong women.
Warning: everything always goes right when it comes to Elise. She's always there to save the day. I know some people hate that. I don't.

season pertama, Doctor Elise lebih fokus pada perjuangan Elise untuk menjadi dokter demi merubah masa lalunya. Namun tetap saja Elise tidak bisa menghentikan perang. Demi menyelamatkan kakak keduanya, Elise mengajukan diri sebagai dokter militer.
Ada yang menarik dari
season kedua ini. Kelihatannya penulis novel Doctor Elise terinspirasi dari sejarah Perang Krimea yang terjadi pada tahun 1853-1856. Pada masa peperangan tersebut, muncul sosok perawat pemberani bernama Florence Nightingale. Dia dijuluki
"The Lady with the Lamp" karena dia sering berkeliling mengunjungi para tentara yang sakit sambil membawa lentera.
Dalam Doctor Elise, sosok Elise digambarkan seperti Nightingale. Kebiasaannya mengunjungi tentara yang sakit dengan membawa lentera mengingatkan pembaca pada sosok Nightingale. Sejujurnya, aku terkejut dan tidak menyangka Doctor Elise ternyata merupakan
re-telling dari kisah Florence Nightingale. Seluruh peristiwa penting yang melibatkan Florence Nightingale semasa Perang Krimea ada di
season dua ini. Aku sudah banyak melihat kisah
re-telling namun ini pertama kalinya aku membaca
manhwa yang berbasis sejarah perang abad 19.
Secara pribadi, aku lebih suka
season 2 dibandingkan
season 1.
Season ini lebih fokus pada taktik perang Linden dan metode Elise dalam mengobati para prajurit. Menurutku, alur cerita pada
season ini membuat hubungan Linden dan Elise terasa masuk akal. Keduanya memiliki pengetahuan yang hebat dalam bidang yang mereka jalani.
Chemistry di antara mereka pun terbentuk secara perlahan, sehingga terasa begitu natural.

O início dessa parte eu achei brega, foi tipo uma consolidação da ideia de que a Elise pode fazer tudo. Eu acho que aqui era a oportunidade perfeita de mostrar que as outras pessoas também eram boas no que elas fazem, mas isso não foi mostrado. Os príncipes foram personagens que tiveram destaque, ambos apaixonados pela Elise, obviamente.
Não gostei da ideia de que a Elise foi pra guerra pelos motivos que apresentaram, faz sentido com a personagem? até faz, mas é aquilo, a Elise é a "faz tudo".
Mais pro final, quando teve o conflito com o Scorpion, as coisas ficaram mais interessantes. Estou gostando do desenvolvimento do romance, e que deixaram o ML ser ele mesmo invés daquela persona que ele criou.
Eu ainda acho que o legal dessa história é ver a protagonista sendo médica, as cenas de cirurgia são boas, mas deixar essa ideia de que ela tbm poderia ser uma estrategista militar não me agrada, porque afinal ela só sabe o que sabe porque ela já viveu essa vida.

This is one of my absolute favorite webtoons, and I'm happy yet sad to have finally finished it after almost a year and a half. The art is incredibly beautiful, and the characters are nuanced, lovable, and easy to root for. The story is well-paced, with drama, romance, mystery, and more. It's often funny and sometimes makes you cry. I really, really enjoyed reading it, in equal parts because of Elise's medical kick*ssery and the sweetness of the romance. I can't wait to reread this! So worth the money! 5 stars.

Ahhh I’m enjoying this so much! I love how the story is unfolding and I’m excited to see how Elise and Linden’s romance will bloom. Yes, Linden has grown on me and I’m starting to like the idea of him and Elise. I don’t ship her with Mil as much as I did before because they’re giving me stronger bff/sibling vibes now. Speaking of Mil, I’m so so so in love with him! Such an adorable baby that needs to be protected at all cost. Love his relationship with Linden!
One thing I’m upset about is the lack of Greyham. I want to see more of my Greyham :(

I like how the medical terms are being defined underneath the dialogue boxes. I also like some medically accurate scenarios in the plot. Lastly, I like where the story is going so I am actually excited to read the next volume. Well done, author!

I love this manwha and how it mainly focuses on Elise becoming a doctor and saving the country in contrast to her previous life. I also, really enjoyed the relationship between Lindon and Elise and the scene were she took a bullet for him.

Watch Elise weave her way throughout the war was brilliantly done and I liked this season much more. The crown prince is starting to get really possessive of her, which makes sense for his character, but I still don’t like it.
