I just love the two weird MCs and their age gap difference representation.
It's funny, nostalgic and sad. But it's so worth it. Most probably my most fav this month. The artstyle is just too good!

CTK's art style is divine as usual with the engaging, hooking premise. They'll swallow you whole. I enjoyed Midnight Rain as much as I enjoyed and loved this one!! I just love the characters' relationship development. If you're looking for handsome, hunk men in a relationship after a commonplace encounter with a bit of a rough back story, let CTK treat you with her dreamy series. And man is Jimmy so adorable when he cried, lol. I can't stop smiling seeing a broad-shouldered guy wearing an apron, looking so sorrowful and asking for forgiveness. Augh, too adorable!! The filler chapter Lucky Bill is cute too!!!

I'll go back for more!!

I admit I got interested in this title because of the art style. I very rarely read yaoi these days but I decided to give this one a chance and I have to admit I really enjoyed it! I didn't cringe at it when it comes to consent (which is unfortunately a common issue with yaoi) and actually really enjoyed the dynamic between Jimmy and Reese. It wasn't a mind-blowing masterpiece but I liked the plot and characters enough to actually come back to this story again if I crave a good simple romance with a pinch of crime and bookshop shenanigans in it. The art was right up my alley until the end. Generally, it's a great causal gay romance read and I fully recommend it as such!

I really liked the title story. There is a second one in there, which was rather short and I really didn't care for it. The first story, though, is the kind I'd like to read more of, because it feels more mature, not only because of the artstyle. There is the obvious conflict of Jimmy being a pickpocket and Reese being a former cop. But Jimmy (unknowingly) stirs up some bad memories when he plots his revenge on Reese by breaking into his home. The pacing was nice for a one volume manga and both characters were likable. I know the way Jimmy acted was wrong but (view spoiler)[ when he cried and apologised to Reese for what he did I really felt for him because he was so sincere (which made me cry in return ... I'm such a crybaby). (hide spoiler)]

Really liked the idea of the story and the characters were pretty great too, but it seemed a bit rushed. The dynamic felt better towards the end but I still wasn't completely into it. Nevertheless a good start for CTK with their first Manga that I read.

It was good, very nice art and story. Still, it felt a bit rushed (insta-lovey) for me to believe they loved each other so much that Reese forgave Jimmy for what he had done. Other than that they made a beautiful couple (looks wise).

Don't you love a good- gruff, handsome retired cop gives a pick pocket a job in hopes of turning a new leaf, only for them to break into said hunk cop's house, become a little too infatuated with hunk cop and practically then they fall in love, the end- stories. They are the best.

Very short, but impactful. It had the spice and the chemistry for a good conCOCKtion. The art was stunning oml the mains were handsome asf and quite differed from your usual protagonists which I liked.

I like the 0-100 where Jimmy and Reese are at work and chilling, while Reese out of NO WHERE be like: he handsome

Hilarious. But cute. It sold itself to me when coincidently Reese was standing over jimmy (maybe Jim Bob was picking sometin up?) and Jim just strokes the tops of Reese's shoes, reaching into his socks, it was so sensual and delicious, cutting to a birds eye view of jimmy on the ground. I died.

I think it could BOPPED so baddie if it was more of a long drawn out series type thing, with denser plot and such but so good as a quickie lmao.
