I've been binge-reading this whole series the last few days and don't know what to do with my life now (studying for the upcoming exam is not an option tho 😤🤚). I need book 7 ASAP and for everyone to get their happy end!

↠ DARCY VEGA. As much as I hated Darcy & Orion's separation. It was important for Darcy's character development & growth. Without Orion and Tory as her crutches, Darcy had to get stronger on her own.

We just held each other and I felt the love of my family binding us all so tightly together that nothing could ever break us. Not Lionel, not the stars. They might have tried to shatter our wills and crush us beneath them, but they'd never succeed. We'd always end up back together. Where we were meant to be.

↠ TORY VEGA. My heart hurts for Tory after seing everything she went through while Lionel had her. Darius & Tory's romance frustrated me to no end and in some books I really wanted to smack her, but what I love most about Tory is her protectiveness and love when it comes to her sister. It the purest love.

And yet no matter what we'd experienced over the years, I'd always had this one burning light right beside me, like my very own star to set to guide me back home always. Darcy. My other half. My one, truest love.

↠ DARCY & ORION. The mutual pining was killing me. Most of all I was so glad to see that Orion got out of prison, even though he only changed one prison for another, but I'm not complaining. The time he was in prison was shitty. At least now he can interact with everyone again. Orion longing and pining for Darcy ugh I would prefer physical pain to this emotinal assault. He still loves her so much and feels like he has nothing for her to offer. 😭

"I knew I could never keep you, Blue. I knew it from the first time we kissed. I just fooled myself into believing it for a while. So when it came to us or you, I chose you. Because I woke up to reality. And real life isn't nice or easy, it's fucking quicksand that tries to drag you down the more you fight it. Love doesn't conquer all this time, because we're on two different paths. You're heading to the stars, beautiful, and I'm staying down here in the dirt. That's just the way it is."

Orion is the best man, how can he not see it? He broke my heart so many times in this book. Did I root for them to get back as fast as possible? YES. But I also liked that Darcy didn't forgive him easily. But please just give me back happy and adorable Darcy Orion moments in the next book!! And they deserve to have their Divine Moment. If Darcy & Orion are not Elysian Mates that would be a travesty and biggest scam. 😤

"Do you really think that little of me, Lance Orion?"
His brow creased, his eyes scouring my face, pausing on my mouth. "No...I think the world of you, Darcy Vega."

Every Orion Darcy scenes makes me feel single af. If I can't find someone who loves me like Orion loves Darcy, there is no point in being in a relationship. 😤😭

I gazed at my mate in front of me. A man I had chosen for myself, regardless of stars and fate and laws. He was mine and I was his. Now and always. In the end, he'd kept his promise to me after all and I'd kept mine. We'd fought for each other until we couldn't fight any more.

↠ TORY & DARIUS. Sigh. I feel lowkey bad for them, because Tory and Darius have to start at zero again. After getting tortured so much by Lionel and Clara, she fears Darius and associates him with pain and I just want them to get a break for once. Tory and Darius not getting their shit together the first 4 books, THAT'S ON THEM. As if it's not bad enough that the freaking stars are against them, now other forces are keeping them apart too.

"You're mine where it counts, Darius. And I'm yours. Nothing can change that." Her lips met mine and I tasted her tears and my grief between us for the sweetest, most painful moment I'd ever known.

I can't believe after all this time, Darius is still hung up on the idea that he's taking the throne from Tory and Darcy. Like wtf bro??? How stubborn can you be. 🤦‍♀️ And then that freaking sacrifice at the end of this book?? Really? Can Darius and Tory get some happy moments please without a time limit.

I'm intrigued with what Darius is going to make of that one year without anything holding him and Tory back. If he's going to be the man, he wanted to be and step up his game, because his persuation game so far is not very impressive.

↠ ORION & DARIUS. This bromance is still thriving and I'll never get tired of the weird things the Guardian bond makes them do. I hope they will still be as close, now that the Guardian bond is gone. I will miss their spooning scenes tho.

"Maybe we should focus on your father first?" he suggested with a dark chuckle.
"Fine," I agreed. "But then I'm going down there to kick some ass."
"You're so protective of me, sweetheart," he joked.
"Always, baby," I agree with a laugh and I held him tighter as I began filling him in on everything I'd had to hold back on when I came to visit him.

↠ SETH & DARCY. They have one of my favorite friendships in this series. Seth and Darcy are gossiping about Seth's crush on Caleb is making my day or when Seth is talking about the moon AGAIN and Darcy is shutting him down, cause girl has enough. They are so cute together. 😩 it's so weird since I spent so much time hating on Seth for being an asshole and making Darcy & Orion's life hard, but it's so hard to hate him when he's so clingy. 🙈

"Seth Capella, life is not guarenteed and with the shit we do most nights, you will regret it if anything happens to him and you don't get the chance to tell him the truth."
"We won't die," he said with a shrug. "We're the Heirs and the Savage Princess. Darcy and the dudebros. Wolfman, Bitey C, Fish Fury, Dragzilla, and the Phoen Dream."
"Okay firstly, never call us those things again, and secondly, we're not immortal, Seth. Just...don't take this time for granted, okay?" I implored.
Seth stepped forward, brushing a lock of my hair behind my ear with a whine. "We're gonna be okay."

Seth trying to get Orion and Darcy back together by making Orion jealous and sending him pics of himself and Darcy. PLS SETH, you're a dead man. He's asking for violence and suffering. 💀 #sheaintblueoveryounomore

↠ TORY & ORION. THIS DUO IS BACK I MISSED THEM. Every time I see that Orion still has Tory friendship bracelet, ahh it's so adorable. 😭 Tory and Orion are bonding about the weird Guardin bond and their love life is also a mess.. misery loves company. I just love their interactions so much!!

I relented, hugging him tight for a moment as we just took a second to appreciate the fact that we were both half free of our shackles, then I huffed out a frustrated breath and kneed him in the balls as hard as I could. Orion wheezed out a cough laced with a surprised curse and I gave him a shove so he fell back onto the couch beside us as he cupped his junk.
"That's for breaking my sister's heart, asshole," I snarled, pointing a finger at him and glaring.

↠ DARCY & DARIUS. The duo I didn't know I needed until this book. I love how close they grew, even though it's kind of sad that they bonded over the lost of Tory and Orion. Darcy and Darius have this annoying brother-sister relatinship where they constantly tease each other w the all kind of stuff.

Darius:
Can you go to Lance's tonight? He might need help and I'm busy.

Darcy:
Busy doing what?

Darius:
Stuff and things. Be there by seven, shrew.

I shot him a gif of an angry Minotaur shouting 'NO!' and he replied with one of a shrew running away from a torrent of Dragon fire.

Why are they so cute? 😩🥺

↠ Every time Seth got close to Darcy to bait Orion and Orion going berserk in his jealousy. Yes sir, throw him against the window. We love to see it. 😌

↠ Tory, Darcy & Gabriel having happy family moments.

↠ All the scenes when the Heirs + the twins were working & fighting together. Every person has different strenghts and weaknesses and I love seing them helping each other. I want more happy moments with everyone. 😭

↠ Orion drunk is never not funny. That scene was hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. My man still has the whole range.

↠ Of course I'm going to say all the Orion and Darcy scenes. The angst they delivered in this book **chef's kiss**

Fated Throne highlighted so many amazing friendships that were developed over the course of this long ass series and I'm so happy that we see all the characters that were once enemies bonding and working together to defeat the bigger evil. I just wish that I would be more invested in the Tory/Darius romance, then this series would be perfect.

Okay, but for real, this might be the best one in the series so far because everyone is finally getting their shit together and working as an actual team for once

✅ The villains in this book give me Umbridge vibes - they're seriously that evil and I both love and hate it

❌ I just don't understand this author's concept of a threesome

A great addition to an overall wonderfully addicting series.

Adequately paced and just overall well-written, this book truly showed how far these characters have come, both as individuals and in their respective relationships/friendships with each other. No one is one-dimensional. I feel something for almost every character, whether that feeling is love, admiration or utter hatred. The point is that they invoke emotion, and I think that's beautiful.

All the ships are sailing my friends. Though many of them are sailing through raging thunderous storms, struggling to fight against the tide and weather the downpour, they have all left the dock nevertheless.

Darius & Tory
There is only her.
Oh how far these two have come. I’ve been rooting for them for so long and we’re finally at the point where they’ve both embraced their feelings, but of course, it’s still far from smooth sailing. We have Darius’ father constantly tormenting them. We have the stars moving heaven and earth to keep them apart. And we have their own idiocy and stubbornness still threatening their progress. It’s a hot mess.

Orion & Darcy
"Just remember you were my queen first."
I, like Darcy, was pissed when Orion pulled the switcharoo that he did. But now, given time to think about it, I understand it just as Darcy is coming around to understanding it. He didn’t do it selfishly. He broke a promise but it was to protect her and her reputation. Can’t really stay mad at a guy you would literally blow up his whole life to hell just to ensure your life remained intact along with your claim to the throne.

Max & Geraldine
There was simply not enough of these two! Like excuse, I love them and I need more.

Seth & Caleb
I’m just sitting over here, waiting patiently for them to happen and the fact that it still hasn’t is just decidedly rude.

Point is, I love this series. Every single book has me hooked. These characters and this world have managed to stick their claws into me, and honestly, I worry how I will manage once it’s all over. But we have one more book to go and I’m ready for the final ride.

Woah that was amazing. Action and drama packed. 👏👏

A lot happened in this one, and it was full of twists which I honestly couldn't predict at times. The book starts off great- action packed and the it moves along at a fast-smooth pace. The mid is where things got a bit dull for me and the drama stretched unnecessarily in my opinion. I do think the author's tried to force some of the plot twists and tropes into this one, when it wasn't required, which is why I give it four stars instead of five. The book picks up pace again and kept me intrigued. So much happened towards the end and it left me with so many questions.

Coming on to the characters-
Darcy and Tory had their separate battles to fight and seeing them clash against each other was worth reading. The struggle Darcy and Darius went through this one is so well represented and well written, I absolutely loved that. Darcy in my opinion was given the upper hand in this book and I would love to see Tory rise in the next book.
The ending is so messed up but I must say Darius and Tory are absolutely perfect for each other. Enemies to lovers done right. Darius aka the grumpy marshmallow is one of my favourites and I really hope he finds himself out of the situation.
Lance Orion is PERFECT. I see no wrong in the man (excluding the betrayal lol). Him and Darcy make the cutest couple and the chemistry is just so right. The way he tries to win Darcy is everything.

Can these people have one moment of happiness?! PLEASE!!

I had never thought I'll be siding with Seth 😂 That's character development done right. While Seth, Max and Caleb had their shining moments, there was always something bigger happening with the major four characters outshining them. Also, MUST protect Gabriel and Geraldine at all costs, I liked their characters as soon as they came into the story and those two are absolutely precious.

Overall, a great read and can't wait to start with the Heartless Sky. Ahh I have such high expectations and so many questions I need answers to.

If there was one thing this whole shit storm had taught me, it was that tears saved nobody and dwelling on regrets was as useful as cutting my own hands off.

It's taken me a few days to process this amazingly brutal book, and even now my mind is still reeling and my heart is still bleeding. I don't know how Caroline and Susanne manage to knock my expectations out the window and throw so much beautiful and tortuous heartbreak at us every fucking time, but holy shit, they have done it again and have written a story that will keep readers captivated with tears in their eyes and hope in their hearts the entire way through.

"You're the best man I know, the best, fucking stupidest, most frustrating man I know. Whether you're a professor, a convict, a fugitive, a power shamed Fae or all of the above, there isn't one thing you could be that wouldn't make me want you. But I just can't trust you."
"You still want me?"

FATED THRONE picks up a few months after the end of CURSED FATES. The twins are separated as Darcy continues to train in preparation of the upcoming fight with Lionel, while Tory is taken hostage by the shadows and her guardian bond with Lionel. When I started this book, I had so many hopes and fears for what would come for all of my beloved characters, which left me absolutely terrified and so stoked as I read. So much happens as Darcy and Tory continue to fight for a way to be united again, while battling all of the forces of fate keeping them apart. I loved watching as Darcy continued to grow in her confidence and strength as a royal heir, while my heart broke for shadow-Tory and how broken and beaten she was. But Tory bows to no one and can't be leashed for long, and I have every confidence that they will defeat Lionel and take the throne (after overcoming the damned stars, of course).

Dragons were hardwired to find the most priceless treasure they could and make it theirs and she was the most prized possession I could ever hope to own. She was beauty and strength and bravery and hope and if I spent every day for the rest of forever making her mine then I'd gladly do it.

There were also so many side plots happening for the rest of the crew--some of which made my heart so happy. I loved seeing Xavier finally have a chance to be a Pegasus; I learned so much about herd culture and some moments had me in stitches laughing! I also loved all of the sweet moments between Max and Geraldine and the blooming romance between Seth and Caleb. My heart continues to break for Darius and Tory as they continue to fight their fate from the stars and for Darcy and Orion as they continue to stubbornly refuse to make amends after what Orion did. Even though there was some hope given for these four, there was also so many bad omens and footnotes that I know will come into play for the final book. Once again, I am terrified and desperate and excited for the next and final book in this brilliant series, which I know will be just as heartbreaking as all the others so far ♡

I love how the first half was just pure pain and heartbreak + made me depressed but then that ending was the complete opposite😩

the character development darcy went through was spectacular omg how is she so strong?? i adore this girl so much. AND TORY. this queen suffered so much it destroyed me completely. that ending couldnt have made me happier <33

i said i liked the heirs before but now i love them all so much ESPECIALLY SETH. SETH OF ALL PEOPLE. OMG HE'S ONE OF MY FAVS?? when he was literally the one i hated the most to the point of death?? THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

and then max !! omg what he did in this book totally erased any doubts i had about him before and totally made up for what he did to Tory in book 1 like i'll never stop being grateful to him😭

I’m not sure how I feel about this book, it was good but I’m afraid I expected to love it and maybe I didn’t?

Overall it was lighter than the previous one and there was more good stuff happening, so luckily no crying this time 😅, but still not a walk in the park.

I’ll start with what I did enjoy; my absolute favorite was drunk, jealous Orion. That scene was hilarious and exactly what I needed😍. I also had a good laugh at Xavier and his struggles, that boy is getting more and more intriguing. Gabriel is a great addition to the gang and his talent to show up out of the blue is the best. I will check out his story soon!

The Heirs continue to be a bunch of softies and I loved how everyone was cozying up at their secret den like a big urban family. Btw the idea of a secret, magical and luxurious tree house protected by spells from less powerful Fae is so insanely cool that my inner 12 year old is jumping and squealing 🤗.

Obviously there were some good steamy scenes, which is highly appreciated 👀. I’m very curious about Caleb and Seth. Especially since they are such nice guys nowadays so we’re rooting for them.

However this amazing change of heart actually bothers me a bit. I really love the new Heirs, but it’s just not credible, people don’t change THAT much. Maybe Fae do and I should let it go? On top of that Darcy is offended by the idea of dating Seth because of his bullying history but Tory and Darius are an option? 🤔

Next to all the fluff there’s the dark part that requires a long list of TW and it all starts and ends with Lionel. He is a ruthless, powerful and a very skilled villain. His ideas to divide the society, find a scapegoat and generally favor hate and fear are chilling and hit close to home. Order conversion ‘therapies’ also sound eerily familiar. Inspired by true events of the mortal realm I guess. It’s all creepy but I like political fiction so that part worked for me.

I hate to say it but the ending was dragging. There was way too much going on, it was overwhelming and some parts felt repetitive.

Last thing I wanted to add: I don’t believe one bit in that deal Darius struck, there’s no way this will go through 🤡

Lads & lassies cannot seem to catch a break (bar one thing) altho the friendships + interactions are such highlights even if almost everything else is 💥 & 💔
Shall be saying no more tho cos spoilers 🤐 - but way to go to the authors for hooking us so thoroughly on rooting for this gang to succeed and I so love seeing the magic wielded as everyone's powers continue to grow 🤗

Not long to wait for next book eventho I am lowkey disappointed we won't be going back to the Academy (I mean I totally get why but still 🤷‍♀️)...what is it with 7th books in magical school settings veering off track? I was loving the class interactions and how the characters were standing up to/flouting the stupid segregationist rules + the Spares were fun additions - admittedly less Washer page time will be such a relief *shudder*, he makes me want to 🤮 and it's horrendous what he gets away with...it's not fucking "harmless" and is totally part of a much larger problem of turning a blind eye 🤢

Hopefully the next book goes where i hope it will and it'll reward me for jumping into Noxy & Dante's backstory while giving us more Rosalie 🤞 but first I'm going to back track to the Lunar Eclipse for a fishy encounter which is bound to be its own very special brand of entertaining 🙃

PS - if the boys continue to covet that damn "chair" I will riot...sharing is caring damn it #teamworkmakesthedreamwork 🙄

i knew going in that this was an unfinished series, still i went ahead and read it when i usually like to wait for the series to be complete. yep, i am a ✨dumbass✨.

i entered this book so fcking depressed and to be honest, I didn’t want to read it. It hurt me, like genuinely hurt me that i just rather not know what happened next than to hurt some more. Ofc my curiosity and care for the people here won and I read it. It hurt ☺️👍🏻

The first what? 30-40%?? was absolutely painful. I have such a love/hate relationship with this series, jesus christ. I don’t think another series has pulled this much emotion from me.

The rest of the book until the 70% mark it’s so much better. It intrigued me, it gave me a spark of hope and it made me laugh A LOT, especially with the whole dijazzle thing 😂😂😂😂😂 When this happened:

“When the Wolves were out of sight, I kicked off my shoes and started stripping down, a grin pulling at my lips as I stuffed everything into my pack which was shaped like a cloud with white glitter glimmering on it – and was cool as shit thank you very much.”

I screamed like a proud mama: YEAH SWEETIE PARADE THE SHIT OUT OF THE BAG!!!!😂😂 I’m not a fan of the whole herd thing with Ty and Xavier fighting for Sofia, but I guess that’s their Order’s way??

I was enraged at times, too. When the throne situation was brought up around Darius I wanted to rip his head off. Why??? Tory sums it up pretty great, here:

“When it comes down to it, your family betrayed mine. Your father took everything from us. A chance to grow up loved in the world where we belong, the chance to come into our powers early and learn all the things you were gifted so easily. And even after everything that's happened, you still want to keep stealing from us, don't you? You still believe that you and the other Heirs are more suited to sit on the throne than we are. Even though it's our birth right. Even though we are more powerful than you. Even though we had to lose everything to get to where we are.”

yeah, i love him but fuck him for wanting the throne after everything. but you know... after that ending.... he is forgiven.

NOW THE HEIRS, I do NOT appreciate my blue balls from those two. I love them together. Max was such a hero here, goddamn it. I love all of them. They are such important people in my life now that i would literally die for them.

- Darcy and Seth, they’re so goddamn cute!!!!!! I loved when they would talk like normal teenagers about their crushes, it warmed my heart.
- Max and Tory, so unexpected but so sweet.
- Orion with the gang is so heartwarming!!!
- Xavier and Tory 🥺🥺

We had so many great moments with all of them, we had a lot of moments when they were ALL together and it was such a gift. It was so so good.

My queens: this was a difficult one. But I love you both so much and I’m right there with you.

The last 30% was... wow. I was a nervous wreck through all of it (as you can see in my status updates). Especially in the last 10%. Jesus Christ. It was so fcking good. The suspense was a lot, but it just kept coming. I’m so fcking thankful it didn’t end on such a depressing note as the last one. This ending was a PERFECT way to prepare us for the last book. I’m scared, but so damn excited.

Y’all, you need to read this series, it’s really fcking good. It’s painful. REALLY painful and cruel at times.(you’re warned) BUT, imo it’s worth it. I fcking hope the conclusion is worth all of it. I kinda think it will be. These authors know what their doing.

p.s. Even though I DESPISE Lionel, you have to agree he’s a really good villain. When we found out about Hail Vega, I was like: “he’s a smart motherfcker”. Those are the most dangerous villains.

p.s #2 With that said, I can’t wait to see Lionel and Lavinia ROT IN HELL. Throw Stella there, too. I want to see slow and painful deaths. I CRAVE IT. I’ll settle with only torturing Lionel, but if y’all authors want to throw someone else there, you won’t hear complaints from me.

i've been reading these books for the past two weeks and now i'm LOST. i never expected to like them as much as i did but nothing could have prepared me for Darcy and Orion. i'm so obsessed with this couple it's unreal, and i recommend everyone to read this series just to meet these two. they are so, so worth it 🥺❤️ and they better get their HEA or i will riot
maybe one day i'll be in the mood to write proper reviews but right now i just feel like sleeping until book 7 comes out 😭
