La casa muestra la vida familiar de los Gonzáles Ardua y como el viaje de la madre traerá un montón de situaciones para sus hijos donde Pilar, Julia y Rolando disfrutarán de su libertad mientras Teresa intentará controlar todo. Teresa es un personaje que existe en muchas familias la controladora que hará la que esté a su mano para que todo salga como quiere aunque sea dañando a lo que ella dice tanto amar.
