That one scene with nanami.......... 🤰

You know that scene in Endgame where all the heroes come out of the portal to fight? That scene was intense, yeah?
This is more intense.

And I'm starting to be more and more concerned each passing chapter...

This was another good volume focusing on the fight between different people, we have everyone on the look for Gojou and them taking on different opponents, here the major thrust of the battle is Yuuji vs Choso, and since the latter has blood manipulation cursed techniques its becoming hard for him and even with his insane attacks and then taking him to the bathroom and using water to coagulate blood and make it difficult for him, its becoming more hard. The moment Yuuji thinks he has got an up on him, he comes and strikes with something else. But Sukuna is there also..meanwhile Nanami and Maki find someone else and this looks like a strong curse user. The book is getting interesting and the story really good and just showing the stakes of the series!

“You’ve gotten a lot stronger since we last met, haven’t you? I barely recognized you. But we don’t live in a world where you win just by being strong.”
This volume was certainly an adventure to get through. In all the right ways.
I keep waiting for the worst to happen in this arc that the manga has taken, mostly because it feels incredibly ominous and nerve-wracking, but as surprising and mind-boggling as this volume was it was also a lot more relaxed and uplifting than anything I had been expecting.
Which is hilarious considering that things keep getting worse and worse.
Getting to see so much of these characters I knew very little about was incredibly cool. From Mei Mei to Zenin Naobito it was just nice to get the world to expand a bit more. And it wasn't only the sorcerers who we could see more off but also the curses and that was just equally enthusing since I had been waiting to see what some of them could do for some time now.
There were some moments that I still don't quite get or that I just need more information over but I like the ideas if nothing else. Though, certainly, more context with Toji and Choso would be most appreciated.
The action was as fast-paced as always and just as fantastic. It all had me at the edge of my seat with all the different places and battles we are following. Which reminds me that jumping from one place to another and keeping the timer straight in my head was a bit of a tough task.
However, I am looking forward really eagerly to what's to come because, what a surprise, this volume ended in a terribly beautiful cliffhanger.
“I now understand my role. For the sake of Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Nanamin, and all my upperclassmen, I have to make sure they can get through here to Gojo sensei. Even if it means dying, I’m gonna take him down! I don’t have to be the one to save Gojo sensei.”

Honestly, reading the Sibuya arc is taking me an eternity because I'm so scared of every chapter.
The ending of this one, though, confused me a lot. What the heck happened?
It was very thrilling though.

Even though I have, somehow, managed to make it to volume 12 of this manga I don't feel safe or very much accomplish seeing as how the Shibuya Arc still continues and will do so for another couple of volumes.
I am, as ever, terrified of it.
Things are at a little lull and I don't like it. Not one bit. It makes me incredibly nervous.
Also, what the heck is going on with that cover? It's the weirdest I've seen so far.

(1) So it's Mei Mei on the book cover, but I can't figure out why is she naked. XD
Plus the way Mei Mei wields her big sickle and her Black Bird Manipulation (and uses her younger brother Ui Ui) to fight the Curse is really, really cool, warrior woman go!!! But I don't think things will be easy when she faces off with a certain someone.
(2) I read this volume in the library I'm so thankful for that!!!
(3) Among the Curses, Chousou is kinda cute!!!! Especially with his school girl's pigtails!!!
(4) Talking about Chousou v.s. Yuji scene, the question about the true nature of Yuji's power raises up again...can it be that the weird (view spoiler) actually Yuji's power (if you can call it that) at work!!!??? I'm so curious!!!
Off I go jumping off to read the next chapter!

I am very glad I'm reading this in volumes and not on weekly bases. This is a hectic ride and it goes so fast and smooth that reading it weekly must hurt it a little bit. The art with its sharp lines and sometimes "sketch" style is amazing and I completely adore it.
This book is bonkers. There are scenes, which are just "showcase" what this is about. Nanami beating the shit out of the fucker with a hand-sword-thing. Not-Geto teasing with a dragon-like curse. Mei and her axe and crows destroying graves... And Yuji fighting Choso and going all out.
The only fight and character moment I was disappointed with was Kugisaki, because she did not have a chance to show herself off, however as her character did not grow on me that much, I am not that sad because of it. And it gave us Nanami greatness, so I can excuse this.
The fight with Yuji is a little bit unfair because we know, that Yuji has Sukuna. But it works because we know he won't help him so the beating and fight actually have stakes. And the fact that enemies are divided among their ranks helps to keep the tension high. I am tremendously enjoying this arc and really, the Shibuya event arc delivers on every promise it so far made and I cannot wait to see more!
yayu.
Loved it so much. The characters, their abilities and techniques, their strengths and weaknesses, all in one volume. I love how each of the characters aren't portrayed to be someone who is invincible. That they cannot fight someone if the techniques between them is unbalanced. Or if the techniques are compatible to fight another technique. Loved the art style, I just don't like the explanation when fighting. Loved to see Feral Nanamin and my segc wife, Mei.
I also want to point out that Choso is so fucking strong. I love the battle between him and Yūji. I have this theory that Choso is Noritoshi's sibling or they're related since we found some tidbits of Choso's backstory in the earlier volumes and that there is someone who was also named Kamo Noritoshi that the whole Jujutsu World hated to the bone. I want to find out more.
What a great volume. I am not excited to finish this but I also wanted to at the same time. Not a favorite but I genuinely enjoyed it.

Still working my way through the Shibuya arc and I’ve been thoroughly stressed the whole time. I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop and I just hope I can emotionally recover from whatever it is. Mei-Mei and her little brother are great and I’m glad we got a little more focus on her and seeing all of her efforts.
More familiar faces from volume 0 have reemerged!
