I really do like this book. More than I expect. It is a very interesting to see both of the main characters are Doms. Usually the hero is the Dom and the heroine is the sub. It is very refreshing that Miss Force put a bit twist on her story. Miss Force slowly becoming my new favorite author. Her writing is so good. The theme is simple but with that sweet twist.
In this book, Sebastian is not just a tough alpha male hero, but he is also vulnerable. He is not afraid to show his feeling to Marlowe. And I am swooning over him. He is this perfect Dom. I never read other book in this series, but I do want to read other books in this series.
Oh BTW, this book has many triggers especially domestic abuse. The character chemistry is off the chart and the sex is hot as a BDSM.
I enjoy it very much.

For now at least, this is the last book (#8) in the Quantum BDSM Series. What a great cast of characters Marie Force created, along with stories that keep you entertained (and maybe made you blush and drop your jaw) to say the least -- but much more in stories that touch your heart in so many emotional ways. Readers will have a little wait for this one but it will be worth it. (Release Date: October 22, 2019)
An award-winning finale for our Hollywood A-listers and their significant others and their chosen lifestyle.
Yes, EIGHT IS GREAT!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 22, 2019
I thought I’d finally met the man of my dreams…
Marlowe
I’ve planned this night for weeks, down to the last detail. I want it to be perfect. Bringing someone new into my private life is not something I do lightly, having learned the hard way over the years that celebrity has a dark downside that I go out of my way to avoid whenever possible.
But he is different. We’ve been together for months and the time is right to take this next step with him.
It doesn’t take long for me to realize I’ve made a huge mistake trusting this man.
Before things go from bad to worse, I have the presence of mind to know I’m in big, big trouble.
Marlowe Sloane’s story, FAMOUS, is the thrilling conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Quantum Series.
•••••••••
REVIEW: 4.5 stars--FAMOUS is the eighth ( and final? ) instalment in Marie Force’s contemporary, adult QUANTUM erotic, BDSM, romance series focusing on the men and women who own and work for the Hollywood production company Quantum. This is academy award winning actress Marlowe Sloane’s story line. FAMOUS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory, history and cohesion.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from several first person perspectives including Marlowe Sloane FAMOUS follows the last single member of the Quantum family as she endeavors to find love; to bring someone into the lifestyle of which she has desired. As a Domme/switch in Quantum’s dungeon, Marlowe has had her choice of submissives but her most recent introduction to Quantum leaves Marlowe struggling to survive. Rescued by a member of the Quantum family, Marlowe soon discovers her attraction to a man to whom she thought of as a friend. Hidden from the press, and the people in charge, Marlowe and her rescuer succumb to their passion and attraction but not before issues of self-esteem threaten to destroy their burgeoning relationship.
FAMOUS is a story of betrayal, power and control; a story of family, friendship, survival and love. Marie Force pulls the reader into a powerful story of domestic violence, endurance and the #metoo movement in the face of Hollywood’s controlling elite. Hidden behind the big mansions and fancy clothes lies a secret that is about to be exposed. The premise is raw and forceful; the characters are strong and sensitive-the author brings together the Quantum family as they circle the proverbial wagons to protect one of their own; the $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense; the romance is seductive and passionate. FAMOUS is a dramatic, provocative and timely conclusion to Marie Force’s wonderful QUANTUM series.

I adored
Famous but at the point where other characters spoke up, I perceived it as a distraction and not a welcomed "look at how all of them are getting their own closures in this book" interlude.
Were they just epilogues or bonus scenes, I'd give the book five stars without any doubts. This way, I just have to knock one down, saying, "It was a great ending to an amazing series. I'm gonna miss these characters very, very much."

5 Star Review of Famous (Quantum #8) by Marie Force
Have you ever anticipated a book so much, but when it hit your device you didn’t want to start it? That was my predicament when Famous arrived. I have been waiting for Marlowe Sloane’s book ever since she was introduced and knowing that this is the last book in the Quantum series it really was bittersweet.
I was riveted from the first chapter to the last and read it in almost one sitting as I simply couldn’t put it down. Marlowe’s story is a friends to lovers one and I think you will be in for a surprise when you read who the hero is. To me it was an awesome pairing and jut right for Marlowe.
Anyone who has read the previous books knows that Marlowe is a part owner of the BDSM club Quantum with her friends. It is here that things go so terribly wrong for Marlowe.
After being rescued by a dear friend, Marlowe is whisked away from prying eyes to recover and it is there that things start to heat up. After all he has been in love with Marlowe for a very long time and it is now that Marlowe begins to see what has been right in front of her.
There is a great deal of drama, angst, emotion, heat and spice in Famous and as I have come to expect from a Marie Force book, it was extremely well written.
The chemistry between them is scorching and intense and Famous was everything I hoped for and so much more.

4 stars! The final book in the
Quantum series, this is a friends-to-lovers romance that is dripping with feels and sexual tension. It’s the long-awaited story for movie-star, Marlowe Sloane, one of the Hollywood heavyweights that make up the core of this series, a part of the Quantum production group that she formed with her best friends, and part owner of the club that they started to meet their secretive BDSM needs.
Marlowe has watched her friends fall in love one by one, and she thinks she may have finally met the one for her, but when she makes the huge step of bringing her partner into her private world and the secret she guards so fiercely, it all goes horribly wrong. Left battered and shaken, she is rescued by a friend who takes her into his home to care for her and hide her from the press, and it’s while recovering that a long-buried attraction will be uncovered – one that will set her world on fire.
The author has requested that the hero of this book remain a surprise, which is why I won’t mention him by name, but I will say that Marlowe’s hero is a man who is already deeply in love with her but who has kept his distance due to her celebrity and his not feeling worthy of her, so they have some pretty heartbreaking hurdles to overcome.
I wish I had the right to brush the strand of red hair back from her face, but I don’t have the right to touch her. Not that way. Not any way.
It takes everything I have to keep my hands to myself when all I want to do is touch her, hold her and assure her that I’ll always be here for her.
But as much as he may try to hold back, it’s impossible to resist their intense feelings and the mad chemistry that makes every moment between them sizzle with intensity.
As I look into eyes darker than midnight, I can see the fierce internal battle he’s fighting to do the right thing, to be my friend and not take advantage of my fragile emotional state. Except, I’m not feeling particularly fragile. I’m feeling something else, something I can’t put into words. Whatever it is, it’s powerful and determined and the absolute opposite of fragile.
They both share the BDSM lifestyle, and that certainly plays into who they are together, but it’s strictly in the bedroom and it’s not too confronting. I love that in this series, the characters are all so open about their preferences, and I guess that’s what comes from this type of relationship. You have to be honest and communicate with each other about what works and what doesn’t work for you, and I really like that kind of openness between a couple. It works really well for these two, and the sexy times are both hot and incredibly intimate as they share that part of themselves with each other.
And that intimacy leads them to open up about all that they are feeling, and the love story that develops is just beautiful as Marlowe finally finds the happy ending that she has been longing for.
“I’ve seen your heart, and I love your heart.”
“You humble me.”
“You thrill me.”
It all moves really quickly, and the relationship storyline unfolds beautifully alongside Marlowe confronting her demons and taking charge of her life, and I loved seeing her strength and bravery through it all, with her friends and family by her side.
The other couples from the series all feature strongly and we get the chance to check in with each of them, with a section of the book giving us a chapter from each of the boys’ perspectives, which I loved! It gives us a glimpse into their relationships so we can see where they are at and how they are living out their HEA. And there’s an epilogue which provides a beautifully happy ending for the entire Quantum crew.
I have loved this series, and I loved this book. Marlowe’s journey closes off the series beautifully, and I look forward to many rereads of all of these books in the future.
4 stars.

Reviewed on my blog, Becky on Books, on 10/24/19.A solid ending to a great series!
Marlowe's story was so much fun to read! The beginning was absolutely heartbreaking--OMG, reading about what happened to her made
me hurt--but watching her rise above it, own it, and find her own HEA was just wonderful. It was all I could do not to stand up and cheer when she had her press conference toward the end, and by the time we got to the epilogue? I have no words :)
For fans of the series, you'll love seeing all of the other characters here--toward the end, we even see sections of the story from POVs other than the hero and heroine of this book, which was a lot of fun. Other series characters also get even closer to forever HEAs than they had been previously :)
If you haven't read the other books (or just not all of them, like me) this could work as a standalone, since Marlowe and her hero's only relationship earlier in the series is one of friendship. It's still one heck of a story read on its own, but if you've read the others you'll love seeing how the other characters end up at the end. (TBH, if you haven't read the other books before reading this one, your TBR pile will probably grow by 7...)

Marie Force has an amazing ability to build funny, thoughtful, caring, groups of family and fiends in her series and this one is no different! I laughed, I cried and I swooned at many of the conversations, twists and turns this story took Ms Force manages to include very important social messages in this book as well as a wonderful long term friends to lovers story for Marlowe and Sebastian, a very fitting end to another great series!

5+ stars!
What an incredible way to end this series!! After reading the first 7 books, it becomes hard to top them. Hayden (along with Addie) has been my favorite H so far (that being said I freaking loved them all!). But holy freakin’ cow, I’ve seen Sebastian throughout this entire series but clearly... I didn’t actually SEE him because this book just made him my new top fav H!!
Marlowe Sloane (35) is the 5th and final partner of Quantum to get her story told. She is also a member of their secret sex club but whereas all the other ladies in this series are subs, Marlowe is actually a Domme.
This book opens up with Marlowe finally deciding to introduce her french BF to her lifestyle. Things don’t go so well. (view spoiler)
[ he looses his shit when she shows him what she wants to do in the dungeon and he beats her senseless and leaves her hanging from the ceiling (hide spoiler)]Sebastian (37ish) has been the club’s bartender and manager for years and is best friends with Hayden. He’s dark eyed, dark hair, 6’3, covered in tats on his arms, chest, back and neck and is often compared to Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Basically - I love him.
He gets to work and it’s him that finds Marlowe and he ends up taking her back to his place to hide out and heal.
It’s during that time that long buried feelings start coming to light. What he thought was completely unattainable and impossible to have with Marlowe turns out not to be the case at all because she too has been harbouring feelings for him.
I loved the slight tweak in the story that changes the whole BSDM ans dom/sub thing because both Marlowe and Seb are Doms. You’d think this couldn’t work, but oh boy, it really really does. They find a way with a ton of trust in each other and their willingness to take or relinquish control.
Seb fights with feelings of inadequacy, thinking he could never be enough for the superstar Marlowe and for Marlowe, this drives her nuts cause all she wants is Sebastian, no matter what.
As their time together progresses and their intense connection reveals love, things from Sebastian’s past come back and threaten their precious bond.
There is so much emotion in this book and so many intense moments that can only be felt if you’ve invested yourself into this entire series.
We get near the end of the book a chapter told from all our previous leading men (Flynn, Hayden, Jasper, Kristian and Emmett) and it’s everything I could ask for.
And the ending?! Amazing. Everyone is exactly where they are supposed to be and with who they are meant to be living their lives with.
Not gonna lie, I’m gonna miss these people lol. I would definitely re-read this series again in the future because I loved it that much.
Such fantastic H’s Marie Force gave us!!

Not What I was hoping for. Wasn’t sure what to think going in. After reading the first chapter and seeing what happened to Marlowe I didn’t think it’d move so quickly as it did.
I’ve been a huge fan of this series and I liked this read when I thought I’d love it.
I was hoping for more and felt in some way it appeared rushed. You’d think after this experience you’d be wary of jumping into another relationship so quickly but having watched Marlowe’s character grow in each book I understood her and why her character did what she did.
Sebastian though he did disappoint me. I couldn’t see him as a Dom. He appeared weak and too emotional at times.
Plus throw in every few pages about the size of his cock and it just had me rolling my eyes.
You may love it but for me it left me flat and bored at times.

The final book in the Quantum series and for me Marie Force left the best for last but in all honesty I have said that about each book in this series because each book has got better than the last, it grew as we learnt more about this group of Hollywood A listers and their sometimes unorthodox life style. Marlowe Sloane’s story was the one I have been waiting for and it was everything I expected and more and knowing this was going to be the last book in the series for me it was the perfect story to end on.
Marlowe’s story is a friends to lovers and no I’m not going to tell you who the hero is because you need to read this book with no preconceived ideas you need to read it first hand like I did to truely get the best out of her story. Marlowe is one of the owners of the BDSM Club Quantum and it was meant to be her safe haven, it’s where she and friends lived the lifestyle they choose without being judged and it’s where things go terribly wrong for Marlowe and that means she needs to be away from the prying eyes if the press she needs a home no one will think of looking and that’s when a dear friend steps up and takes her home. One of the twists in this plot is the feelings these friends share but will either of them risk friendship for love......
This book has it all, lots of emotion, plenty of angst and its fair share of hot steamy passion, it’s an extremely well written book that rounded off and closed this series perfectly. It ticked all my boxes and it captivated me from the first page to the last line. If you are a Quantum fan this will be a must read and if you have yet to one click this great series ...you need too now.

"This love story is far from all roses 🌹 but man is the happy worth the journey"
Famous by Marie Force is final book in her New York Times bestselling Quantum Series. Though this book could be read standalone I highly recommend reading the Quantum Series in order because...well.... it is a great series!
Now onto this final book of the series... Marlowe's happy.....the author has asked her love interest be kept unwraps which is just fine with me as watching this reveal itself was so much fun.
These two fit so well together; the easy connection, the banter, the mutual respect it all builds up to chemistry and love the reader can feel as it oozes off the pages.
When the past returns I adored how Marlowe saw right through it and grabbed ahold of what was in front of her.
The BDSM aspect of this story was so well done; the author respected who both characters were while allowing their connection to have them bend just a bit; a true I am better because I am with you sort of love!
The love Marlowe finds is perfect for her; a man who respects her success, her strength and the male friendships around her!

I don’t want Quantum to end, but this was perfect The minute Marlowe walked onto the page 8 books ago I was really curious about where Marie Force was taking her character. I started Quantum a few books in, so I knew that eventually all the main players were supposed to get a book of their own, but Mo was the only female in a group of strong, hardheaded men, and she always held her own.
Then all the core Quantum guys got their books, and throughout we saw Hayden’s bestie from growing up, Sebastian. Seb was larger than life, in more ways than one, and while not a hot Hollywood property, he was a part of the group, they chose him to run their BDSM club, they all included him in everything even if he never felt like he should be there.
This couple could not get put together any earlier in the series, if they had the impact would’ve been lessened, but it was definitely worth every minute of the wait. The chemistry is intense, and the sex is even more so.

This is the final book in this series and I absolutely loved it. Marie brought it with this read.
This is a BDSM series and technically you can read it as a standalone. This is one of my FAVORITE tropes, friends to lovers!
This is Marlowe's story and it was amazing. This was a twisted and thrilling reads that had hurt and had healing. I loved every word of it. Marlowe makes a huge mistake in bringing her lover into the fold and when things go wrong the person you don't see coming is who ends up being the perfect match for her.
I read this is one sitting and don't worry, it was just as steamy as the other reads in this series.

Finally Marlowe's story is hear and what an absolutely amazing emotional roller-coaster it was to read and also an absolute pleasure...
It doesn't surprise me when Marlowe won't listen t her friends regarding Rafe the super douche but omg the outcome from that is totally terrifying but i also couldn't look away from the pages I had to keep reading I mean come on I'm totally invested in this series and Marlowe's story is the last one so i just know its going to be terrifyingly amazing and it was and so much more, I know I'll re-read this series often because i have enjoyed it so much and seriously Marlowe's story was the most awesome ending.
